If you haven’t gotten your act together, you are almost out of time. Merry Christmas to you all.
As I gathered my thoughts for this week’s message, I started with the guiding words of Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness.” This scripture has been my guiding light over the last year. Indeed, the Lord challenged us to envision something new. Something different, something spectacular. Faith is about not knowing that something will happen but trusting that God will show up and do something extraordinary. And that’s precisely what he has done for us this last year.
We have faced some challenges this year, but not only has God shown up, but He has shown out. He has continually reassured me through scripture reading and prayer not to lose hope but to keep pressing because He promised that He would never leave us. And guess what? God has proven to be so faithful. He is our hope. So today and as we end the year next week and ready ourselves for the New Year, let’s allow Isaiah 43:19 to be a beacon of hope.
Remember, our belief becomes a catalyst for change, a testament that a path is being forged even during uncertainty. The wilderness we tread is not a place of defeat but an arena of new beginnings.
As we navigate our endeavors, remember the power of unwavering belief and the strength found in prayer. “Can’t see you. I am doing something new” – these words echo the transformative force within us through God’s Holy Spirit. In times of adversity, our perseverance in prayer aligns with our dedication to exemplary work, creating a synergy that propels us toward victory.
Let our collective focus remain steadfast on our goals, undeterred by distractions. In the tapestry of challenges, our true north is our guide. And as we face each day, let belief, prayer, and diligence be our companions, ensuring we emerge victorious.
